2007 - Red Bull NY - player cards









2007 Red Bull team issued player cards. The front of the card featured a blue monotone colored portrait with player information. the back of the card featured a color photo of the player on a dark blue background with the Red Bull logo.

2006 - Red Bull NY - Jozy Altidore

2006.09.16 Red Bull NY v Columbus Crew, Giants Stadium...

For 82 minutes, the story of the Eastern Conference survival game between the Red Bull and Crew was referee Baldomero Toledo, who sent off three players and awarded a second-half penalty kick to the Red Bull.

All that changed with one swift strike of a 16-year-old's right foot as Jozy Altidore all but saved the Red Bull season with a 30-yard blast past Crew keeper Bill Gaudette for his first MLS goal.

Before that referee Toledo sent off Joseph Ngwenya for a high kick to Seth Stammler's side in the 20th minute. then it was Red Bull Mike Magee who was red-carded in the 63rd minute for a left-handed punch to Kei Kamara, just two minutes after both players entered the game. The Crew's Marcos Gonzalez received a red-card in then 71st minute for a right-elbow that bloodied John Wolyniec, which would bring in Altidore as his replacement...

2004.08.04 MetroStars v LA Galaxy, Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

The MetroStars faced the LA Galaxy in a physical match that produced 3 yellow cards and 1 red. Amado Guevara scored first for the Metros on a penalty kick, his 5th in 5 attempts this season.

Eddie Gaven would increase the score on a brilliant sidefooted shot after he slipped past the defense to pick up a through ball from Mike Magee. 3 minutes later John Wolyniec would hit a volley in misair on a pass from Cornell Glenn.

The Metros maintained their hold on first place with the 3-0 victory...

2004 - MetroStars v SJ Earthquakes


2004.07.10 Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

On goals by John Wolyniec and Amado Guevara, the MetroStars ended a 3-game losing streak, defating the San Jose earthquake 2-0.

Wolyniec's goal came  off a perfect through-ball from Craig Ziadi, for Wolyniec's 4th goal of the season.  Guevara scored on a penalty kick in the second half stoppage time...

2004.09.11 MetroStars v N E Revolution, Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

The MetroStars earned their firs victory over the NE revolution in 11 matches. The Revs took a 2-0 lead within 15 minutes of the start of the game. The Metros scored in the 30th minute on a Mike Magee penalty kick, when Ricardo Clark was pulled down by Joe Franchino.
Just before the half ended Magee chipped the ball into the box, where Eddie Gaven blasted the ball into the net to tie the match.

In te 69th minute Cornell Glenn ran onto a John Wolyniec through ball beating an off-balanced Matt Reis, the Revolution keeper for the game winning goal...

Julie Foudy - Dunkin Donuts - A Winning Combo





















2001 - Julie Foudy and Dunkin Donuts offered a special promotion of a soccer ball pin available with the purchase of Dunkin Donuts products. A small proof of purchase soccer ball was located on the bottom of the box. When the buyer sent in about 3 proof of purchases and a few dollars they received the soccer ball pin attached to the Julie Foudy card.

The pin measures about 1-inch in height.
